Patients

The creation of the Jarar Mideeye Foundation is a direct response to the severe lack of infrastructure for mental health care in Dagahbur, Ethiopia. It is an urgent and compassionate endeavor to end the deplorable mistreatment of the current patients, many of whom are subjected to the cruel practice of being bound to trees or shackled at the ankles as their only form of “treatment.” Our institution is driven by a solemn commitment to rehabilitate these individuals, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment where they can access the comprehensive care they so desperately need and unquestionably deserve. We aspire to restore their dignity and well-being by replacing the chains of suffering with the bonds of support and healing.
